Unlocking creativity and collaboration
In the charming city of Køge, Denmark, a dynamic assembly of educators, innovators, and visionaries from across Europe converged for the Erasmus+ Green Urban Paths project, transforming the Køge Business College into a hub of multicultural exchange and learning. This landmark event, part of the Erasmus+ Cooperation partnerships in adult education, spanned from November 14th to 16th, 2023, uniting distinguished partners from Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, and Denmark to vividly celebrate diversity and expertise.
Nurturing Innovation Through Interactive Learning
The agenda for the “Green Urban Paths” project was meticulously planned to maximize learning, teaching, and training activities. Participants were drawn into a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration, starting from the 13th of November with an immersion into Danish culture, and culminating on the 17th of November with a departure filled with new insights and memories.
The second day, the 14th of November, was particularly captivating. It started with a warm welcome and registration, followed by an energizing icebreaker session, “Dance as Danes love,” led by Køge Handelsskole. Participants engaged in group-building activities and movie scene exercises to foster teamwork and creativity. One of the day’s highlights was the IMPRO THEATRE session by Nicole Gadiel from Køge Handelsskole, a dynamic exploration of improvisational theater techniques.
Scripting Success and Cultural Exchange
The third and fourth days were dedicated to script and playwriting workshops, a testament to the project’s commitment to integrating creative arts into education. Experts from the Køge Handelsskole shared their insights on scriptwriting, followed by intense group work sessions where participants crafted their scripts, weaving their characters into the rich tapestry of the “Green Urban Paths.”
The event wasn’t just about work but also about cultural exchange and building connections. Evenings were reserved for shared dinners at local culinary gems like Rib House and Brasseriet Baum, where conversations flowed as freely as the cuisine.
Final Bows and Future Paths
The meeting concluded on a high note, with presentations of partner scripts and plays, and a touching ceremony of certificates. It was a moment of pride and reflection, marking the culmination of days filled with hard work, laughter, and learning.
The “Green Urban Paths” project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, is more than just an event; it’s a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of collaboration across borders.
